Beauty blogger empties

I’ve never done one of these empties posts before but I always really enjoy reading them, so I thought I’d give it a shot and see how it goes down.

I mentioned the Revolution Ultra Base Corrector Palette in my Drugstore Make-up Haul, and a couple of months on and I’ve used up all of the green and the peachy colour. I don’t think I’ve gone a day without using the green, it’s just brilliant on my blotchy red cheeks, and the peach is great for my every-growing, big black bags. I also use the highlighter and the concealer in there, but haven’t yet run out of those. I’m definitely going to be getting myself another one of these very soon because I just can’t live without that green corrector anymore.

I’m also now completely out of my Armani Si perfume – which is bloody amazing btw. I can’t even begin to explain how gorgeous the smell is, but I love it and I think I’ll be getting some more very soon.

I’m guessing more or less everyone has heard of the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer by now – it’s pretty popular. I have used the whole lot up, but honestly I don’t think I’ll be getting another one of these. Although I’ve got the lightest shade, it just isn’t light enough for my ghost-like skin, and obviously concealer needs to be pretty light. So, I think I’m going to carry on with the concealer from the Revolution palette as that’s just that bit lighter.

Lastly, the Nivea Express Hydration Primer is amazing. I tend to wear this if I’m having a no make-up day because it really does it’s job and hydrates your skin but within a minute of putting it on it just disappears and your face is completely mattified.  I hate that greasy feeling when you’ve got moisturiser on and it doesn’t look great either, but you can’t even tell I have this on. If you have combination skin like me, then this is great because it works on your dry bits and doesn’t add any oil. I’ll always go back to this moisturiser, definitely my favourite.

This has actually been a really short post for me – you can probably tell I love a long waffly post but this is actually quite short! Let me know if you like these empties posts, they seem to be pretty popular, and I know I like them. Also, leave a comment if you’ve tried any of these and what you thought of them! Thank you for reading and stay tuned for a DIY Pinterest kind of post tomorrow – it’s a good’un!

The Nivea Hydration primer sounds so good. There’s so many times where I just want to do no make up days but need something very light just to hydrate my skin but like you said without getting that oily greasy look! I do love Nivea products too so this could be good!
