Devon in pictures – Spring 2017

Devon in pictures – Spring 2017

I recently went away on holiday to Devon and while I was there I was sure to take plenty of scenic shots. I’ve managed to narrow them down to just a handful and I thought I’d share them on here. I find it really interesting looking at these kinds of posts – especially if it’s a place I’ve never been to. So, I hope you all enjoy and it gives you a little insight in to where I stayed and what I got up to!

The first picture I took when we’d literally just parked up.

We then went off exploring the little town of Shaldon for a couple of hours and had something to eat. (Excuse the state of my hair, I’d been up since 5am and had spend 5 hours in the car in my defence.)

We stayed in a lovely little house called The Dolphins which was backed on to the water and was literally half over it.

The view from the balcony at the back of the house.

All of the houses were so pretty, I’d love to live in one of these over-looking the water.

All round the backs of the houses were these tiny little roads and random short cuts on to the beach.

We visited a couple of the pubs and cafes while we were there. This was at the London Inn and these were by far the fanciest bacon sarnies I have ever seen – they were amazing though! This place was literally a one minute walk from where we were staying and had such a lovely atmosphere, I would definitely recommend it.

Another day of exploring.

I took this shot from a little beach that was hidden away round the back of Shaldon. There was a little cave that you could go through that brought you out on to this secret little beach.

An action shot of Beryl running from the sea.

A very tumblr shot of me enjoying the view (totally natural of course).

The other shot, so picturesque… Ft. the Aunt and Uncle

Later in the week we caught the train in to Exeter. This isn’t like your train journey in to Birmingham, this was an amazing train journey. The train goes all along the coast and the views are gorgeous.

The Exeter Cathedral ft. my Dad. The Cathedral was gorgeous and was surrounded my so many shops – such great place to go for a shopping spree!

I love the views of the water, its always such a beautiful sight. I also love how the cute little beach houses look- we have some cities that have houses like that too and it always is so cute and quaint, especially when they’re pretty colors lol Also love your hair, is that your hair naturally curled like that?! Its gorg!!!

The houses were so pretty, I love when they’re all painted different colours! Sadly not, I used that headband method to curl it, but it got totally flattened during the car journey in that one pic haha, thank you though!xx
